Kathmandu University welcomes the submission of abstracts from the interested candidates for the 10th International Conference on Human Rights Education(ICHRE) that is scheduled to take place in Kathmandu from December 11-12 in order to facilitate an academic cosmos to dialogue on “Human Rights in Academic Excellence, Technology and Artificial Intelligence”.Interested candidates can submit their abstract on following themes:
The conference will bring together Academic Institutions, government bodies, civil society members, educationists, researchers, lawyers and human rights activists to discuss challenges of human rights education in the global perspective and to identify common approaches and joint initiatives that will protect human rights and promote human rights education. This gathering will predominately focus on factoring human rights in academic excellence—an area relevant to all particularly for the countries in the in a post-conflict or transitional setting. Precisely, this is an opportunity to discuss the state of execution of these rights and challenges in their implementation and the challenges of human rights education. By creating a space in which civil society actors, members of constitutional bodies, human rights activists, educationists and other stakeholders can come together, this conference will contribute to building academic institutions with global responsibility of peace-building and educational development for the realization of human rights in the society.
Submission process: All submitted abstracts must be focused on one of the aforementioned conference themes. Interested candidates need to submit a word file not exceeding 250 words abstract with:

Notification about the selection of abstract is on 16 November 2019
Submission of full papers is due on 30 November 2019
The working language of the conference will be in English with translations available into official state languages. Where necessary and possible, there will also be translation into non-state languages to allow members of minority communities to participate fully.
Note: Kathmandu University reserves the right to reject the abstract if it doesn't comply with the aforementioned guidelines.
